Georgia man found dead

N.C. Man Found Dead In A Car In Georgia. AUGUSTA, Georgia -- A man from North Carolina was found dead in the front seat of a car in Augusta, Georgia and a man is charged with the crime.
Michael Reginald Harris was found Sunday in a Chrysler LeBaron parked in front of an abandoned house.

The 46-year-old Durham man was dead with a gunshot to the head. Neighbors said they heard gunshots in the early morning hours Sunday. A neighbor discovered the body when he returned home from church.

Investigators found a pipe used to smoke crack cocaine on the body. An autopsy is planned.

Georgia police arrested William Henry Myers and charged him with Harris' slaying and two gun offenses.

Georgia police didn't say what connected Myers to the crime.
